Welcome to Health Care Bayern e.V., the largest cross-sector network in the Bavarian healthcare system

In times when the demands on the healthcare system are continuously increasing, strengthening collaboration is more important than ever. This is exactly the mission of the non-profit association Health Care Bayern. With approximately 500 members, we have become the leading networking platform in the Bavarian healthcare sector.

The idea of turning many individual players into a strong, unified force was the founding vision of Health Care Bayern e.V. in 2002. For more than 20 years, we have been connecting healthcare providers, interest groups, health insurance funds, hospitals, science, industry, and politics. In doing so, we have established ourselves as a cross-sector pillar within Bavaria’s healthcare landscape.

Health Care Bayern e.V. also sees itself as a think tank. To structure its work effectively, the association is divided into eleven working groups covering a broad range of topics – from the hospital of the future and integrated care to digitalization and prevention. Within these expert-led working groups, members collaborate on solutions to the major challenges facing the healthcare system today. They also provide a platform for the development of independent projects among members. Especially in healthcare, trust is the foundation of collaboration – and trust can only grow when people come together and get to know each other.
